Celebrating a 20 year tradition of community service.
September 29, 2018
This weekend the O'Connor Center for Community Engagement celebrated their 20th anniversary. Over the years students have participated in Relay For Life events, blood drives, alternative spring breaks, leaf raking, and more. Each year approximately 80% of SUNY Delhi's student body participates in over 20,000 hours of community service.
Enjoy photos from the 20th anniversary celebration, the 2018 annual community service day, and the 6th annual Out of the Darkness suicide prevention walk. This year during community service day students baked cookies with the Delaware County ARC, beautified Delhi's Main St., collected donations for the food bank, and more. The Out of the Darkness walk is a partnership between SUNY Delhi, KSE Fraternity, the South Central Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and the Delaware County Suicide Prevention Network.
